Penthouse
Penthouse - Greenwich lane, New York City
A high-end private residence located in downtown Manhattan. Collaborated with Kang modern Architecture and Axel Vervoordt Studio. This residence is not the client’s main residence, it is only used for leisure purposes which leave lots of opportunities for lighting design. As an artist, Axel Vervoordt has a unique perspective on interior design and at the same time, this innovation has brought great challenges to lighting design. Creating lighting scenes to meet the different occasions for client’s use has become the main goal.

Lighting Scenes
According to the previous program settings, the control system can produce different lighting scenes. Each scene is not only included one type of fixture but included diverse types of fixtures with different dimming percentages. When controlling the brightness, all the fixtures in the same scene will proportionally brighten or darken consistent with the presetting program.
